SET IN MOTION is a physics-based puzzle game for the GMTK Jam 2025!

- Complete 8 different puzzles in order to fix a broken grandfather clock!

- Work out where the gears need to placed to beat puzzles!

- Make your own solutions with moveable cogs later in the game!

- Avoid placing your gears next to hazardous red gears!

- Test out your levels at the end to see if all the gears keep moving!

HOW TO PLAY

Your goal is to make a complete loop of gears, in order to fix an old clock.

1. Hold LMB to drag Gears from the table at the bottom, or to drag Gold Cogs.

2. Stop Holding when hovering over a Cog; the Gear will snap to it.

3. When happy with the loop you've made, press the TEST button at the top, and wait for it to turn to GREEN.

TIPS

- If the Gear/Gears at the end slow down too much, consider changing Gears around or moving Gold Cogs to make a better sequence. Then, press the TEST button again and wait for it to turn GREEN.

- Sometimes you'll be given more Cogs than you need. Figure out which Cogs you don't need to use.

- You can move Gold Cogs on their own or when they're holding a Gear.

- Avoid touching Red Gears when they show up. They'll make any Gear they touch spin or slow down; making puzzles harder to solve.

- You can always find a Tutorial if you press "T" when in a level, or the level selection menu.
